We are currently hiring a Lab Surface Technician

Wage: $22.50/hr.

Location: Tacoma, WA

Shift: Monday-Friday, 3rd shift- 11:00pm-7:30am

Using a blocking machine, this person will line up lens symmetrically to the graphic on computer screen and apply a block up on the lens using hot wax.

1. Calibrate and set-up machines for production.
2. Constantly monitor product and production flow.
3. Change cutting tools.
4. Change polishing tools.
5. Some laser engraving.
6. Some clean-up required.
7. Deboxing and taping lenses which includes; folding paperwork, bagging trays for the conventional line and reviewing paperwork to determine which line the job goes to.

8. Keep area clean
9. Help in other areas when needed

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
