Overview

Verathon is seeking a Regional Manager (Florida) to become the newest member of our US Sales Critical Care Leadership Team. The Regional Manager is responsible for developing and executing an annual business plan that drives year- over-year top and bottom-line growth within a defined region. This position leads a team of Territory Managers and Clinical Specialists.

This is a field based role and the ideal candidate will be based in Orlando, Jacksonville, or Tampa. The region is the state of Florida.

Responsibilities

How will you add Value?

    Be a trusted leader: Build a high performing result driven team that model Verathon's (V7) core values. Manage talent within the sales organization by attracting top talent, ensuring successful onboarding and focusing on engagement and development planning as a way of fostering career growth within the company. Provide regular coaching to Territory Managers on sales skills and strategies. Guide Territory Managers in crafting sales solutions that meet customer needs while maximizing revenue and profitability. Conduct regular ride along days with Territory Manager's and provide constructive feedback. Develop a strategy for Clinical Specialists to collaborate with their team, increase their clinical acumen and ultimately drive BFlex (SU Bronch) revenue.
  • Business Management: Fully utilize CRM system (Salesforce.com) daily to manage the regional Pipeline, Forecast and Opportunities to exceed the regional quota and achieve double-digit sales growth. Develop, negotiate, and manage local IDN agreements to drive sustainable, long-term growth and increase market share within the region.
  • Review and monitor all aspects of Sales Agreement terms and conditions. Ensures strict adherence to defined sales process and policies including FDA/GMP and ISO regulations.
  • Develop an annual business plan with specific target account goals/forecasts for each territory within the region while adhering to the region's revenue, unit and profit budgets.
  • Achieve and Exceed Revenue Targets: Drive year over year growth in sales revenue and profitability within a defined region.
  • Understand your market: Evaluate market opportunities within the region and prioritize with Territory Managers. Understand key customers and their demand drivers, including business model, financial status, and relationships with GPOs/ IDNs.

  • Business Management: Ability to quickly learn product knowledge, services, market applications, policies, and procedures. Skilled in business communications, sales presentations and influencing. Proven ability of applying analytical skills analytical skills including Forecasting, and pipeline management.
  • Passion for improving patient lives: You are passionate about medical technology to improve and save patient lives. You draw on your clinical acumen to build rapport and influence decision making and strategy.

The Basics:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years B2B outside sales experience.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Able to meet vendor credentialing requirements for all healthcare systems.
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Must reside within territory, Orlando, Jacksonville, or Tampa preferred.
  • Required overnight travel is 5-6 nights per month, on average, to cover territory.
  • Required to travel for annual sales meeting, regional meetings and in person training as needed.
