Position Overview

The Technical Program Manager, Supply Chain Operations plays a leading role in defining and launching technical programs for the Supply Chain team that support the rapid growth of Stanley. In this role you will facilitate internal and external systems integration efforts such as: enabling near-real time inventory data syncs, onboarding new 3PL and parcel carriers, and enabling our demand planning system. You will use your experience in launching technology programs in e-commerce fulfillment to partner with Finance, Technology, Planning, Fulfillment Operations, Product and 3PL partners teams and deliver successful system integrations.

What You Will Do

  • Scope and define Supply Chain program requirements, converting them to list of technical requirements and critical milestones for on-time and on-budget program launches and apply technology to solve problems.
  • Represent the requirements of Stanley's Supply Chain teams to other internal teams (technical and non-technical).
  • Define and improve team processes and metrics; identify and clear blockers; reduce implementation lead times and costs; improve quality.
  • Manage large, complex technology initiatives, delivering critical solutions, significant improvements and/or deprecate systems and processes that are no longer needed.
  • Provide detailed, data-driven insights to identify and prioritize opportunities and to shape program and operational decisions, as well as foresee risks, "join the dots" and drive to resolution.
  • Proactively build and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders across a range of businesses, with excellent communication skills
  • Develop regular program communication and reporting, including launch plans, timelines, status updates, post-launch assessments and performance reviews with attention to detail.
  • Take ownership and accountability for programs, while maintaining the ability to ask for help, and escalate issues and problems to keep programs on track.
  • Design mechanisms to reduce bottlenecks, improve communication, identify risks, and gather feedback from a wide range of worldwide stakeholders.

  • Proven track record of program management in the e-commerce fulfillment operations domain.
  • Knowledgeable of e-commerce order fulfillment best practices and managing data.
  • Passionate about providing our customers with an excellent fulfillment experience.
  • Curious about answering the WHY through the analysis of data.
  • Proven ability to influence, with varying levels of seniority within an organization.
  • A resilient, focused problem solver and self-starter with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a complex, sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Self-directed, proactive and able to define and execute projects independently.


Education and Experience

  • 7+ years of relevant technical program management work experience in a large/complex organization.
  • A technical background with a proven history of diving deep into details (e.g key dependencies, design choices, operability etc.) and drive constructive discussions with IT and engineers
  • An Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
  • Understands system limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions and/or the reasons for architectural decisions.
  • Capable of holding an IT/Technology team to a high standard for both solutions and engineering practices
  • Capable of reviewing design decisions
  • Proficiency in written and oral communications; able to produce concise, relevant, strategically driven documents and presentations to leaders.


Interaction and Environment

  • You will be a key member of the Operations team and will report to a Director of Supply Chain Operations.
  • Daily work hours flex to build collaborative partnerships and timely communications across multiple geographies and time zones.
  • Indirectly leads, motivates, and influences a global team, spanning multiple regions and cultures.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.


Salary Range

$130,000 - $155,000 annually.

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.
