Responsible for installation, repair and maintenance of production manufacturing equipment.

1st & 2nd Shift Available

Functions and Responsibilities

  • Install, repair and maintain production manufacturing equipment.
  • Inspect equipment for proper functioning and performs preventative maintenance duties, per manufacturer's specifications.
  • Diagnose basic equipment malfunctions and makes repairs or adjustments efficiently.
  • Follow written instructions, sketches and documents.
  • Use hand and power tools as required.
  • Perform all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures.
  • Work under direct oversight.

Education, Skills, and Experience

  • Must have forklift certification and be proficient with moving large equipment.
  • Complete a formal training or apprenticeship program in a related field such as mechanical, facilities (carpentry, plumbing and HVAC), electrical, electronic, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems or have equivalent experience.
  • Requires general knowledge of codes and regulations related to equipment and facilities.
  • Knowledge of shop math and precision measuring equipment.
  • Vacuum Furnace, CNC, PLC (Program Logic Computer), X-Ray experience preferred.

Working Conditions

Use of protective clothing, goggles and other equipment to prevent injuries. Wearing a respirator may also be required.

Physical Requirements

Performs physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and frequent movement of the whole body, such as climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, balancing and handling of material.
