Wage:
$27 - $31 hr.
Scheduled Hours:
Tues - Saturday - 7:00 am - 4:00 pm or 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Position Summary:
The Residential Construction Specialist (RCS) will have primary responsibility to oversee construction activities for CCHS New Life Homes (NLH) Mutual Self- Help Housing Program. For the various NLH projects and working with the NLH SF Housing Program Manager, this consists of planning all construction activities for the NLH Program, overseeing the construction crew and work done by subcontractors, managing the schedule for construction and complying with all required local jurisdictional requirements, providing assistance with construction, safety training, and work scheduling for sweaty equity group activities for NLH program participants.
Responsibilities:
Assist with planning all construction activities for the New Life Homes Program
Overseeing the construction build group and overseeing work done by subcontractors
Manage the schedule for construction and complying with all local jurisdictional requirements
Provide assistance with construction, safety training, and work scheduling for sweat equity group activities required for NLH program participants
Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
The following requirements are those that are normally required for the performance of this position. The position works primarily at residential construction sites and is generally performed outdoors, in a variety of weather conditions, and involves exposure to construction site hazards. Physical Requirements:
This position normally requires the physical demands of standing, walking, bending, lifting or performing other work requiring above average physical exertion, talking, and hearing on a regular basis to perform the job requirement. These physical demands are required up to 90% of the time.
