Community Outreach to Veterans

These organizations are participating in our exclusive Community Outreach program. Through this program, groups and organizations that directly work with Veterans receive open job notifications on a daily basis that match the criteria they specifically requested. These daily notifications (known as JobCast’s™) can be customized by location, profession, education and experience.

King County Veterans' Program

King County Veterans' ProgramWith mutual respect, dignity, and acceptance; through innnovative and collaborative services; King County Veterans' Program provides tools for positive life changes to veterans and their families. Caseworkers provide employment services for veterans which include: voice mail accounts, resume assistance, job counseling and placement, career testing and skills assessment. More than 185 veterans are placed in jobs annually.

Port Of Seattle

Port Of SeattleThe Port of Seattle plays a key role in bringing international trade, transportation and travel to the Pacific Northwest, and supports industries as diverse as tourism and commercial fishing. The Port is also a key builder of road and rail infrastructure, partnering with other agencies to improve freight traffic from Tacoma to Everett. The Port’s vision is to be the cleanest, greenest, most energy-efficient port in the nation, and uses the tagline, “Where a sustainable world is headed” to communicate that goal.
