Community Outreach to State Workforce Agencies

When people are ready to work, CCC’s WorkSource program is there to make sure they have the right tools. Multiple public and private partners, provide job referrals, employment counseling, a wide variety of vocational and social skills training, and classes such as resume writing, interviewing and money management. WorkSource is a one-stop employment resource center, and has multiple partners on-site including Oregon Employment Department, the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation and Community Court.

WorkSource Affiliates serve special populations and are electronically linked to the WorkSource system. All affiliates offer self service resource rooms and job search activities. WorkSource Services are delivered to customers in a variety of ways, including: Self-directed efforts, such as kiosks or via the Internet; Group programs and activities, such as workshops; One-on-one consultations; and Training programs and business consultations.

WorkSource- Downtown Seattle is a “one-stop” center in Washington State. It is an integrated, high quality delivery system for an array of employment and training services designed to enhance the effectiveness and coordination of employer and job-seeker services. No fees are charged for any of the services offered.

There are three WorkSource Centers and four WorkSource Affiliates in Seattle-King County. All are open to the public and provide the information, technology, and services that businesses need to thrive, and job seekers need to secure satisfying jobs. Several are open extended hours. Comprehensive WorkSource Centers provide a full array of programs and services to job seekers and businesses. WorkSource Affiliates offer many of these same services, and are well equipped to meet the unique needs of their community.

WorkSource North Seattle is a comprehensive job search and resource center, which is available to the general public, free of charge. WorkSource North Seattle values our business customers. We will provide them with efficient and effective resources to meet their needs.
